New for 2024
Medical & Vision
Cigna’s Omada Diabetes Prevention Program
Through an innovative digital behavior change program, Cigna’s Omada diabetes prevention program helps participants lose weight (and keep it off), build strategies for healthy eating, activity, sleep, and stress management, and reduce the risk of developing type 2 diabetes and cardiovascular disease—one step at a time. Increased HDHP in-network deductible
To comply with IRS rules, the Cigna HDHP in-network annual deductible will increase from $1,500 individual / $3,000 family to $1,600 individual / $3,200 family.
Increased HSA contribution limit for 2024
The annual IRS contribution limit for HSAs will increase to $4,150 individual / $8,300 family. Limits include Snowflake’s employer contribution.
Caremark Cost Saver (GoodRx) program (applies to Cigna medical plan participants)
Powered by GoodRx, Caremark Cost Saver provides members with automatic access to GoodRx’s prescription drug pricing to receive lower prices, when available, on generic medications. Learn more here.
VSP enhanced vision frame / contact lens allowance (applies to VSP plan participants)
For 2024, the VSP plan frame / contact lens allowance will increase to $200.
Mental Wellness Support
Additional support through Lyra
Beginning January 1, 2024, Snowflakes and their dependents enrolled in one of our Cigna medical plans can continue care with a Lyra network therapist or coach beyond the 25 free sessions per year. When care transitions to the Cigna medical plan, your regular deductibles, copays or coinsurance will apply. You will also have access to medication management support, allowing Cigna members to get prescription drugs through Lyra. In addition, Snowflakes enrolled in Cigna plans will have access to a Clinical Leave Evaluation module in which Lyra will fill out the leave paperwork for members who need to take a leave of absence due to mental/behavioral health reasons.
RethinkCare: Professional Neurodiversity Program
RethinkCare’s professional neurodiversity program offers specialized support for neurodiverse and neurotypical employees, including:
- 1:1 consultations with experienced practitioners
- 150+ expert-led skills training and resources
The Professional Neurodiversity Program is available to all Snowflakes at no cost, and no enrollment is required.
Modern Family
Maven menopause program
The Maven menopause program provides holistic support for members experiencing perimenopause and menopause, including:
- Clinical care management to identify menopausal symptoms early and manage care throughout a member’s menopausal journey
- Specialized virtual care teams of providers focused on all stages of the menopause journey, available 24/7, to support individuals across all related issues including general menopause education, mood fluctuations, hot flashes, sleep issues, balancing work through menopause, and preventing chronic conditions
- Specialized referral lists to additional employer-sponsored resources and high-quality in-person providers

Long-Term Care
LTC plan through Trustmark
The Trustmark Life Insurance with Long-Term Care (LTC) is a new optional benefit that offers one policy, with two benefits: life insurance coverage for your designated beneficiary combined with a long-term care benefit that can be used to help pay for long-term care services.
The Trustmark Life Insurance with Long-Term Care (LTC) benefit can be used to help pay for care services when you require assistance with 2 or more activities of daily living or have a cognitive impairment (like Alzheimer’s). Services can range from help at home with daily activities, like meal preparation and housekeeping, to personal care services like bathing and dressing.
Long-term care is also provided in assisted living facilities, which are home-like settings that offer safety and security, plus nursing homes that provide round-the-clock skilled nursing care.

Tax-Advantage Savings Accounts – HSA + FSA
Learn about the benefits of using a Health Savings Account (HSA) or Flexible Spending Account (FSA). These accounts can help you reduce taxable income; money in these accounts can be used for health and medical expenses (HSA and FSA), as well as dependent care (FSA). HSAs are only available to those enrolled in the Cigna HDHP plan and cannot be combined with a Healthcare FSA.
LifeLock ID Theft Protection
Everyday activities like online shopping, internet browsing, and banking can expose your personal information. The LifeLock with Norton Premier plan offers identity theft protection including AntiVirus security, parental controls, and online privacy protection.
Lyra
Lyra is your go-to for well-being. With online tools, research-backed therapeutic methods, and top therapists, you and your family can tap into an easy-to-use, convenient way to get the help you need.
Maven
We partner with Maven to bring you round-the-clock support at every stage of your parenting journey. Maven provides on-demand virtual care, clinically informed content, and a supportive community for new and prospective parents.
Care.com
Care.com provides backup childcare, senior care, and pet care. It also offers membership to Care.com, the world’s largest network of caregivers. As a Snowflake employee, you receive access to this benefit at no cost.
ARAG
ARAG helps protect you and your family with legal insurance. With ARAG legal insurance, your network attorney fees are paid in full for a wide variety of legal matters.
Kindbody
Planning to start or grow your family? If so, Snowflake can help with family-building assistance through Kindbody. Kindbody is available to all employees, as well as their spouse or domestic partner, who are currently enrolled in one of our Cigna medical plans.
Long-Term Care (LTC)
Snowflake is offering optional, employee-paid Life Insurance with Long -Term Care (LTC) through Trustmark. Owning an LTC policy can bring financial peace of mind in the event you or your partner experiences a health event requiring LTC services. Policies activated during the Open Enrollment period will become effective December 1, 2023.

Medical Plan Options
Cigna OAP High Deductible Health Plan (HDHP) with HSA
This plan has a higher deductible than the PPO, which must be satisfied before the plan pays for any non-preventive medical or prescription services. To help offset the cost of reaching the high deductible, you can open a Health Savings Account (HSA) that both you and Snowflake will put money into each pay period.
Cigna OAP Preferred Provider Organization (PPO)
This plan is a traditional PPO with a lower deductible than the HDHP. The deductible only applies to certain services, and most services have an associated copayment. With this plan, you don’t have access to a Health Savings Account (HSA), and the biweekly payroll contributions are higher than the HDHP. While you are not eligible for the HSA, you can contribute towards the FSA.
Kaiser Health Maintenance Organization (HMO – CA Only)
This plan has more predictable costs but less flexibility to see non-network providers than the CIGNA HDHP and PPO plans. You pay a copay for most services, but all care must be received within the Kaiser network. Out-of-network care isn’t covered except in the case of an emergency. You must choose a primary care physician (PCP) to manage routine care, referrals, and hospital stays.
